The press release for 7.2 makes no references to bug fixes - perhaps a political move, but it has done little to make the natives happy. This difference is starting to evaproate though as other NLE's start to add this ability. Burning from the timeline was for me one of the major differences between AL and the other NLE's on the market. Recently gave up on the DVD buring inside Liquid (I am a victim of the no audio issue during the first chapter - doesn't happen everytime but too often) and purchased a dedicated DVD authoring application. I would have labeled myself as a strong supporter in fact and have been using AL since version 4.5.
I am sure LewS you recognize that I am not a regular on here with complaints about Liquid, and have actually come out in support for the application on many occassions. They (Avid) could have had all in this place prior to NAB. It seems obvious that 7.2 has been ready for release for a week or more now so I can not see any reason why the 7.2 release needs to wait until their return. Not wanting to shoot the messenger, count me among the disappointed.
